We’ve hit a delay with our printing recently – not an enormous delay but I wanted to let you know what was going on as these things are always frustrating.
Print costs have increased quite a lot over the past year, and we recently reached a point where we had to make some changes to our arrangements. I had hoped this wouldn’t adversely affect our timelines, but unfortunately we’ve been knocked back by a month or so.
It’s always a tricky thing to balance costs while making sure that we are getting the levels of quality we demand - it is hugely important to me that our books are of the best quality possible. Our new supplier is one that we’ve worked with in the past, and they do great work.
In the short term however, this means delays in getting printed copies of some of our books to you: specifically, the Doctor Who: Limited Edition Core Rulebook, and The Fourth Doctor Sourcebook. We’re now anticipating them to be out to you in early June.
The good news is that this should be a one-time only delay, and we should be on course to carry on releasing books as planned once we're through it. And, as you’ll have already seen, this isn’t delaying us releasing PDF copies of our new games on a regular basis.
