Keltia is a roleplaying game of exciting adventure set in Dark Age Britain where Arthurian legends and Celtic myths are real. The Keltia Core Rulebook is at the printers now and features a full-colour map of the setting as part of the endpapers – we’ve put a PDF of this map up for download today.
The Keltia Core Rulebook is available to preorder over at the Cubicle 7 webstore. The PDF version is also available to buy over at RPGNow. If you pre-order at a participating brick and mortar retailer you can get the PDF as part of the Bits and Mortar program too.
The setting for Keltia is the isle of Ynys Prydein; the Romans knew this land as Britannia, whilst you may know it as Great Britain. It is a land very much like our own world in the 5th Century, albeit where myth and magic are real. Ynys Prydein was until very recently an outpost of the Roman Empire, but has now been left to its own devices. It is divided into a number of kingdoms, from Powys and Gwynedd to Lothian and Kernow, each ruled over by their own King. The whole land is ruled over by a High King, Emrys Wledig, who has brought peace and unity to the land - that is, until his eager young grandson, Arthur, is named his heir...
Keltia is our new roleplaying game of exciting adventure set in Dark Age Britain where Arthurian legends and Celtic myths are real. Take part in the great battles sung of by the bards. Travel from the court of kings to the boundaries of the Island of Beli the Great, perhaps even enter the mists of the Otherworld. Maybe you will witness the end of the time of legends and the arrival in history of the greatest hero of Britain that will ever be: Arthur Pendraeg.
You might be a clan warrior, a druid, a bard or a mage. Myrddin the Elder may guide you to search for the forgotten gods, hidden treasures and conspiracies to foil, taking you to the darkest forests, the mists of enchanted isles and haunted cairns. The bards will sing of your feats for centuries to come.
Companions of the Dragon King, children of Ynys Prydein, prepare to forge your own legends!
Keltia is written by Neko, Florrent, Thibault Dapremont and Kristoff Valla, and illustrated by Antonio Jose Manzanedo Luis, Jerome Hugenin, Florrent, David Lecossu, Nicolas Jamme and Xavier Colette.
Keltia is available to pre-order now in print. All copies of Keltia come with a complementary PDF. Pre-orders at participating Bits & Mortar stores are also eligible for a free PDF version.
