What is Dragonmeet?
Dragonmeet is a one day gaming convention in London, UK, focused on hobby games - role playing, card games and board games.
When is it?
Saturday the 1st of December 2012. Doors open at 10am.
Where is it?
Kensington Town Hall, London, UK.
The main events at Dragonmeet are the games, our industry guests, the artshow, the traders in the trade hall, and our charity auction.
Dragonmeet very much focuses on drop in play - just turn up, sign up for some games and get playing. As well as sign up games there are demos that you can just join in, and even (hopefully, though we're filling up fast!) free space to bring your own games to play with new friends.
This years guests are: Ian Livingstone OBE, delivering a talk on the history and future of Fighting Fantasy, on its 30th anniversary year. Industry giants Ken Hite, Robin Laws, Paul Fricker, Mike Mason, James Wallis and Graham Walmsley will also be in attendance with a full seminar schedule for the day.
Trading at this year's con are:
BITS UK Ltd
Black Box Games
Cubicle 7 Entertainment
Lamentations of the Flame Princess
Thieves of Time
Triple Ace Games
This year we have expanded the art show, and are bringing you some of the very best talent in gaming art. Meet the artists, browse their works, pick up a print or original painting from your favourite games. As a special bonus the whole art team from Doctor Who Card Game, including Ben Wootten all the way from New Zealand will be there!
Exhibiting artists: Matt Dixon, Andrew Hepworth, Ralph Horsley, Jason Juta, Sam Manley and Ben Wootten.
We round the day off with the traditional charity auction, presented by the gamer's champ, and our favourite person in all the world, Brian Nisbet.
