The latest supplement for The One Ring Roleplaying Game, Rivendell, is hitting the shelves of US gaming stores this week, so we thought we’d have a look at what you can expect to find inside the book.

The Rivendell supplement not only opens up a whole new area of Middle-earth for heroes to explore – Eastern Eriador – along with two new cultures, including Rangers of the North, but also provides a treasure trove of new rules for use by the Loremaster, including rules for Magical Treasure, Powerful Adversaries and the Eye of Mordor.

Rivendell

With the revised edition of The One Ring Roleplaying Game in stores now, it’s the perfect time to get started with the game. As well as the game itself, there’s already a growing line of supplements for it, from adventures like Tales from Wilderland to setting guides like Heart of the Wild – you can find out more about them here.

The latest supplement for The One Ring, and the first designed specifically with the revised edition in mind, is Rivendell – available for pre-order now, with the hardcopy anticipated soon. Rivendell is a not only a setting supplement covering the lands of Eastern Eriador (including the Vale of Imladris, the Barrow-downs, Angmar and more besides), but also a treasure trove of new rules and options.
